The picks being late 1sts hurt the deal. The Sabres would also want Suzuki (I assume) which Montreal wouldn't want to do (""). The fact of the matter is, in terms of Eichel, these 2 teams along with all other Atlantic teams will have to pay an arm and a leg to even get to the table as the Sabres don't want to see him 8 times a year.

I like Savard but if you put him in your top 4, then you have the similar issues MTL had last year and that was teams figured out to focus on Petry because they knew not much offense was coming from the other d-men. That is why MTL had to go get Gustafsson to add an offensive element. So, I think it is important Habs get an RD with some offensive abilities to take pressure off of Petry. Petry had an amazing first half until teams figured out how to play MTL and he had difficulties in the 2nd half of the season.
