Not a bad trade value wise as both are relatively high risk players. A couple problems for me though. Senko is likely a Kraken and I think the risk with Kane is a lot higher than the risk with Senko. Kane is probably a 50/50 chance at crumbling your dressing room to the ground from the inside within 3 years whereas Senkos risk is just that he doesn’t play.

Kane is also the 31st highest scorer in the league this year. Tarasenko might not play again. I know Kanes got personality questions but during his time in SJ it hasnt effected his play and hes done very well. I actually would rather not trade him, but with the friction in the team and the rumors that he might be traded, I think something like this makes sense, but I wouldnt take on Tarasenko at his caphit without payment, and neither would any other team in the league.

Where are you getting any of your info. Plenty of teams were interested in tarasanko, Armstrong didn't like the return. And tarasanko is expected back in full this year, so maybe quit making stuff up

Senko is in about the same situation as Eichel is. Both are disgruntled, and both are coming off injuries. Neither will get there full trade value. I don’t agree with Senko being exposed, as you risk losing him for nothing when you could have gotten at least something in return, although not as good as what it could have been.

He couldnt find a positive return for full cap hit. Every team asked him to retain or add sweeteners. Why do you think hes exposed for free? Teams dont do that if they find positive value. As for his medicals I dont know, but teams obviously dont trust it and neither would I fully.

Tarasenko will play again. Kane’s antics haven’t affected his play but I bet they’ve affected the team

Yeah but will he be anywhere near as good as Kane? Thats the whole gamble here.
