I don’t mind going after Kuzy, but I don’t think that’s the player that does it. I think it would be around one of the goalies to clear cap.

As a Flyers fan who is hoping Patrick does have a return to normal health and a good NHL career, be wary of throwing him in at 3C after the last two years. That's what we planned on doing, and though it was obviously stupider of us to expect that a year removed from his issues, I'd still be worried. Confidence is his #1 issue imo after health.

It looks as though Vegas is stocking up down the middle so I think they're do something there and this just seemed to make sense. I know Washington regrets losing Stephenson plus they traded their first to Detroit.

Caps pass. None of those pieces really doing anything for them. Stephenson is a really good 3rd liner but our 3rd line is already great. The 1st would be nice but this doesn't really help them as they still need a center to replace Kuz. So unless we flip Stephenson and that 1st for a top 6 center this wouldn't work.

Only move that would make sense with VGK would be Kuz+Vanecek for Fleury+Krebs but know VGK fans hate losing Krebs so don't think any trade would work.

For some reason I don't see Vegas being the right spot for Kuznetsov (sniff, sniff)

I would fear for Kuzy's life if he went to Vegas...
