Thanks for your comments.
As you can see, I was trying to maximize the first round picks.
Unfortunately Arizona and NYI reached a deal which I think could have added another first round pick if Buffalo had sent assets to the Island for Ladd.
I will concede that neither the Ducks nor the Jackets will make their trades.
I am shocked that no Sabre nor Ranger fan commented on the Eichel trade.

Ducks won't give up 3OA for Reinhart without extension. Even with extension it's unlikely

That reinhart trade is genuinely funny

I like this rebuild for the sabres, lots of picks and young guys getting chances, with that being said, reinhart is not worth the 3rd overall pick.
You may be correct about Sam, but from what I have been reading he may be better than anyone who is drafted this year.
Let me add, I would love to see that Skinner - Strome - Buchnevich line if this trade took place.
You are most likely correct.
I may be in error, but Sam may be better than any player that comes out of this draft.
Let's agree to disagree, I agree that the Ducks would not make the trade, but I think he is better than the player who the Ducks will draft.

I think Edmonton would love the Neal part.
If they wanted to go to free agency for a player, it is probably a good deal for both teams.

Columbus moving 5-1 isn’t a good thing, they have the smallest and worst prospect pool in the league. They need all the 1sts they can get vs one 1st OA pick. Plus in this draft the difference between 1 and 5 isn’t that much as no one knows who’s going where.

Cbj says no and offers the 5th spot and a third for 1. Difference between 1 and 5 is very small this year.
You are most likely correct that the Jackets will not make this trade.
On the other hand, it is a good offer.
The three picks that the jackets are giving up have less value than the first over all.

To make it a fair trade Columbus would actually have to add.
As that web site indicates the 1st OA has a historic value of 100, the three Columbus picks have a value of about 83 which is equal to another first round pick.
But to avoid a long discussion I will drop the trade and yield to your opinions.
