I kinda like this... Not thrilled about Robertson in the Top 6. But still. I kinda like this.

Robertson on a line with either JT or AM is exactly where he should be. He'll have a better shot at developing on his current skill set playing with them.

I would love Jenner in TOR.

I just feel like he can do it and we gotta see what we have in him. This team’s gotta start giving trust to their rookies and young guys. Ofc they’re gonna make mistakes but that’s how u learn. You’ll definitely learn quite a bit playing with the captain and nylander.

I would also love Jenner in TOR. But I still haven't seen any reason why Robertson belongs in the NHL. Don't get me wrong I hope that he is. But I would rather the kid develop some more. I don't mind the young pairing of Sandin and Lily to develop. But the chances of Robertson, Sandin, and Lily all on the ice at the same time scares me. Maybe it's possible to sign Foligno to cheap and squeeze him into a roster like this. I

Its dumb to anyone with brains except to homers, who still believe those 1st Round exits dont have nothing to do with Team itself but its someone elses fault ( mostly opponent Goalies, cursed goal posts + few other stupid excuses on top)

Ahh so your of the belief they should just pack it in sell off the big contracts or a big contract for 10 cents on the dollar and then use that same space on 2 maybe 3 lesser quality players and that'll push them over the hump

It’s a reasonable offer for Jenner, but I think CBJ would have difficulty trading him - he’s a fan/management favorite.

My guess? If they trade him, it’ll be at next year’s deadline.

I mean, hell, if Foligno could fetch them a 1st? Jenner should at minimum be able to match that.

it'll be very intriguing to see who wins the travis dermott sweepstakes this offseason, given he's likely on the block

This trade comes with an extension tho, that’s too much for a rental, plus he probably won’t resign with cbj anyway

Not really, think of it this way, they didn't send Hallander and a 7th to Pittsburgh to acquire McCann, they paid Pittsburgh Hallander and a 7th so the Leafs could keep either Kerfoot or McCann or Dermott, rather than pay Seattle an outrageous premium to take the player the Leafs want them to take they paid Pittsburgh peanuts to force Seattle to chose between Kerfoot or McCann

Listen, just go 7-3-1, protect them both, and leave dermott and holl exposed. Seattle likely takes dermott bc they’re an analytically driven team, and he’s better than holl in that department. Holl is carried by Muzzin and I think they’d know that. We saw how he played away from him, he was awful. If Seattle really wanted to take holl, just pay a price to take dermott?? Now you have both McCann and kerfoot, and u can trade kerfoot bc he’s more tradable than dermott. Or u can keep kerfoot. I just don’t get why they did this.

I don't think they had a choice with Holl protection, his NTC could have been the hurdle - but I agree I would of rather left Holl exposed with Dermott and Engvall

True, but nor did Foligno. That’s my point.
