I reckon if you added Seattle's top 5 protected 1st rounder in 2023 (for Bedard and matvei michkov) instead of the 3rd rounder they might accept

Ok I changed it. I don’t think they’re exactly “desperate” to deal him, but I think Eichel wants out and will demand a trade at some point. Seattle has all the pieces they need to get him: a glaring need at center, the #2 overall draft pick, multiple high 2nd rounders that are basically 1sts, a young, high upside d-man in Bean, and enough cap space that Buffalo wouldn’t need to retain anything. The only other team I can think of that would be able to match that offer is maybe the Kings, but I don’t know if they even have much interest in Eichel.
