Description

Canucks move up 1 spot with a trade to LA. Hughes is ranked at #8..but could go earlier..but if he's still there ahead of LA's pick, canucks make a last minute trade to move up.. the idea of the 2 Hughes Brothers anchoring our D for years to come, is just to good to pass up. The rest of the moves strengthen the depth and our forward lines are more balanced with scoring, grit and toughness. The D gets a big overhaul and will be much better this season.

Haha I know. Wishful thinking right. I don't know if Luke would go as high as 4..but also thinking they are thinking the same as canucks..and if they don't.. still feel he won't fall as high as 8 or 9.

any time i hear canucks fans drooling over luke hughes as if blood relation guarantees anything, i think "does anyone remember jared staal"

Yeah but...they're saying he might actually be a bit better than his brothers..i don't really follow jack a lot..but if luke turns out to be anything like Quinn..but maybe stronger defensively..boy what a pair that would make

If Hughes was there at 8,you'd trade Pettersson to LA to move up and still would get rejected.
