I’m pretty sure Domi is going to Seattle…

Did he turn it down? Haven't heard anything.

Buffalo does not need more defensemen, especially not left-handed ones. Some young forwards on the other hand would be a good idea. There’s no way they accept this trade.

I think the Tarasenko situation effectively went down like this if I had to guess:

-St.Louis goal was to keep Dunn and pay to protect him if necessary, and just wanted to get an asset or 2 while shedding Tarasenkos contract

-The only offers they got had salary coming back and/or were less than the value of Ivan Barbashev

-St.Louis figures if they can't get anything more than the value of Barbashev for him while completely shedding salary, they might as well just let Seattle take him and let them flip him to one of his NTC teams.

-Seattle then leverages Philly into sending futures while sending Tarasenko and a similar player the other way.

Basically, the Blues benefit by moving Tarasenkos full salary while keeping Dunn and Barbashev, Seattle benefits by getting a package they deem more valuable than Dunn from Philly (I think Dunn is worth more than a 2nd + Hagg, but Hak is very familiar with Hagg so who knows), and Philly benefits by possibly adding the best sniper they've had in a decade
