Description
Can you sign players to one year lower salary and increase it for following years in same contract or would it have to be separate contracts for each?

Like hughs salary cap would be 5.5 and then next 7 years would be 8.5
And pettersson salary cap this year 5.5 and then next seven years would be 9.5?

And the Columbus deal I just spitballing maybe nucks need to add idk. But Gavrikov should be trade target

The salary can change but the cap hit cannot. If you wanna pay Quinn for less now and more for later, give him what is called a bridge deal where you pay a player Less and for less term

I don't think that Seattle will take Kole Lind, he's an RFA and given the talent that would make up the roster for Seattle he would need waivers to go down, its far more likely that they will take MacEwen who can add speed and grit to their bottom 6.

I may be wrong but given the fact that Ron Francis has been upfront with teams about who they want if they are left unprotected, I'm not sure Benning would have traded for Dickinson if he was going to lose a young a player who they see a future for in the organization.

Apparently chances are high that Seattle takes Holtby. They would load up on goalies and then trade them after. That sounds good to me.
