    Another mediocre return for Eichel
These kinds of trades just aren’t gonna happen
The Sabres aren’t gonna “sell low”
Gonna have to pay up to get him- it’s gonna hurt

Even if there's a 2nd coming back, no way should Ottawa move the 10OA pick for Strome. I'd offer a 2nd and a prospect like Thomson or Jarventie at most

Ottawa's 2022 1st rounder will probably still be a lottery pick AND, as a UFA at the end of the coming season, Strome would likely be gone already. BAD MOVE for Ottawa.

Eichel deal is in the ballpark of fair considering the situation. A reasonable offer they'd consider. Only issues are that it's possibly not good enough to keep him in the East (unless the other offers are significantly less) and it gets outbid by any deal offering an A+ centerpiece (e.g. Turcotte/Zegras/Drysdale, etc.). Still, I'd call it a solid effort with a fair chance of happening if those guys are off the table and Buffalo isn't adamant he goes West.

Which is fine, except that Zegras and Drysdale aren't being moved, and my understanding is that LA also has no intention of moving Turcotte. If Buffalo finds a team that's willing to move a prospect that's even close to one of them in a package, they should jump at it, because there's not going to be many teams out there that a)have the space to take him on, and b) Have the prospects to get Buffalo the haul that they probably want.

All of the worst Eichel trades are from Rangers fans.

I don't see Georgiev being a good option for Edmonton. He's had declining stats every year and as of late has had back-up quality numbers. Wouldn't give a 2nd and just likely wouldn't trade for him at all as he doesn't really improve the goalie situation.
