Zero chance in hell Islanders trade Matt Martin and not because he is any good but the Islanders organization literally gets off to pictures of the fourth line staying together.

If the price is right I would take a chance on him. We know he's a skilled goal scorer and even just the value of adding him to the first PP would be enough tbh

Those contracts are wack. Hall at 5.5M? Laine QO is 7.5M... he won't do a long term in this climate, he is still young.

bro... Hall and Boston have already agreed to a 5.5M dollar cap hit. They are just negotiating term.

Hall is giving up a ton of money, he must love Boston, I am shocked.

I mean Hall openly stated he was gunna take a paycut and he proposed to his fiancé in BOS and talked about falling in love with the city. And spending the summer there. Shoulda seen hall taking a paycut from a mile away

He wouldn't be 1PP though. They need a net front guy on 1PP and that's not Laine

I dont think you need a net front guy when Pastrnak Marchand and Laine are all spread out on the ice with room

Hall has never been shy about his desire to play in Boston. He wanted to be drafted by the Bruins, wore #4 for Orr. I'd be shocked if he left.

He and Pasta play the same role on the PP. Again he wouldn't be PP1 in Boston. Nor is he a guy I'd want. $7.5 million QO with consistency issues and give little effort on the defensive end. Cassidy would bench him a lot.
