I know I’m underpaying for Beau, but the Habs have a lot of futures they can afford to lose. What would it take?

He's worth more than the Habs would give up because the isles are a win now team, theyre not rebuilding.

I think you’re right in saying the Isles would’ve want to move him, are they in a tough spot with the cap or not?

no they have close to 20 mill in cap space

Yeah plus they have contracts that wont be so hard to move out. (Hickey 1x2.5, komarov 1x3) so that would be another 5.5 million.

This would be difficult to say no to. The funny thing is, I still checked to see if there were only two seasons left on Byron's contract, and not three, lol.
