Drouin is a cap dump, poehling is a 4th liner. Why would the islanders make this trade?

I'd be very surprised if the Islanders accept that. It seems like they consider him to be the future with Barzal. The only real asset they get there is poehling, who will probably not be as good as Poehling and possibly Drouin, who is expensive.

Drouin a cap dump???? Its not like he got his leg cut and cant play hockey anymore!! Hes just not able to play in the mtl market!! I would not be suprise if he get 50-60 point in a team like the iles!! Poehling is more a 3rd C than a 4C in my book!! Harris is a B- prospect!!!

I don't think the Isles have such a big market as MTL, especially since the Rangers are the franchise with more history.

Im not comparing MTL to NYI. Im just saying a player who has a hard time playing in a big market isnt gonna do well in NY. Plus no matter what team it is, the NY media is the same and its hard to deal with.

I didn't know Bergevin being interested in a French Canadien player means the isles have to trade him. Leave it to habs fans to think theyre entitled to a player. Hopefully Habs fans don't destroy their city when the trade doesn't happen.

Some player like price dont give a **** when this happend because he dosent care about the media. Drouin is just not able to take the pression of being a qc player who play in mtl.
