Description
Danault would be an outstanding 3rd line center. He moves up to line 2 when needed or when Krejci retires. You could add some $$ on Krejci's contract if need be. Lines are deep and very balanced.

Where is this info on Seattle taking zboril coming from?

If you’re going to sign danault, basically have to trade studnicka.

Vegas has him as the odds on favorite o be selected. Also Joe Haggearty has mentioned this and some writers in the Athletic seem to agree. Zboril has a great relationship with Jay Leach in their Providence days.

That rumor has been squashed. It is confirmed that Montreal isn't re-signing Danault.

I did not say Montreal. I said Seattle is signing Danault and will be the X pick from Montreal.

Link? Oddshark doesn’t even have him on the board:
    Favorite: ritchie
Followed by Clifton, lauzon, and then kase.

I think there’s a lot of money to be made betting lauzon.

The rumor did not start til today. I don’t believe it either but it’s been gaining traction. I don’t see Boston pursuing Danault at all honestly.

It's a small journalist from Trois-Rivières, mid-size town 1h30 half from Montreal, looking for his minute of glory. I'm not buying it at all.

Are you confused? Eric Engels didn't write anything about Zboril. Eric Engels squashed the Danault to Seattle rumor.

Joe Haggearty mentioned Seattle selecting Zboril and a lot of people tend to agree.

He is not the odds on favorite from vegas, he’s not even on the board.

Pro tip: anything haggerty says you should ignore. He’s an absolute laughing stock which is why he started a blog. No one would hire him. He’s legit never right.

Vegas as in LAS VEGAS NEVADA. And yes, Joe Haggearty is a hack, but writers at the Athletic, you know, the magazine also seem to think Seattle will may take Zboril. More likely than Lauzon. Not my words, just what I read.

Seriously, your source is Haggerty? Do yourself a favor. When the author is Haggerty or Murphy, disregard it. Completely. Don't even click on the link. Whatever those 2 say holds no water and probably never will.

You too? Other writers have also said this. If Seattle selects Zboril delete your accounts. I never said anything or suggested this, just things I've read.

Yeah I know. I've heard Zboril to Seattle as well. And if they do, great! But I don't see it happening and there are better players available they could take. I'm justing trying to advise people not to use Haggerty as a source.

When you say, “odds on vegas favorite,” what everyone on the planet will think is that the oddsmakers in the vegas sports books. Those guys say they don’t even see zboril as a possibility.

You said “word is seattle is taking zboril,” and then went on to make some weird argument about how the oddsmakers agree (they don’t). I’m not saying it’s a foregone conclusion that seattle takes someone other than zboril, but there’s certainly no word that seattle is taking him, and no indication from oddsmakers that he’s the likely pick.

Too much term and too much cap hit for a player who basically averages 11G and 29A per 80 games. That contract would be Charlie Coyle all over again. Boston can't afford another 3rd liner at 5.25M which is probably what Montreal is thinking.
