Too much for Eichel. The asking price FROM BUFFALO is 4 1st round equivalents. No GM in their right mind is going to pay more than what’s being asked.

Sabres fans deserve a great haul for Eichel, but these proposals requesting more value than what Adams is even asking for are really rough.

Kings decline, RFA rights for basically the 8th overall and a recent 5th overall is too much.

Philly wouldn't trade either of those elements for Ristolainen, let alone both. Similarly, Los Angeles isn't trading Turcotte or the eighth overall selection in this year's draft for one year of Sam Reinhart, let alone both.

Minny didn't buy Ryan Suter out to trade Matt Dumba. That trade might be accepted if you took him out and substituted Rask for one of Boldy or Rossi, because otherwise the money doesn't work.

Anaheim isn't trading out of the third overall selection unless the Ducks get two selections in the top 10.

Either those UFAs sign for more term and more money or not at all. In particular, I see Ullmark getting a five-year deal from someone.

These Reinhart trades are pretty ridiculous.

I wouldn't trade more than a 2nd and Kupari for Reinhart, unless he has an officially signed, long-term extension in place prior to the trade. None of this "sign and trade" or "handshake agreement" stuff.

I would think it would be like Stone or Max Pac - where the agent has already has a deal in place for Reinhart once he is traded. But if there is no extension, no way is he netting Turcotte and 8th

Stone netted one prospect basically. Not getting a top tier prospect PLUS 8

If he is extended, I could stomach giving up the #8 overall, but there's no way I'm giving up Turcotte too.
