After the Freeze

Team: 2021-22 Buffalo Sabres
Initial Creation Date: Jul. 20, 2021
Published: Jul. 20, 2021
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
-Captain McCabe - Alternates Miller and Haula
-Based on reports, sounds like owner wants UPL up in Buffalo, so it wouldnt surprise me if UPL is in Buffalo for 2021. I dont think it is the right move, but nonetheless, it is what it is.
-Roll with the youth at center. When Granato took over, Mittelstadt looked like a different player. These lines are really labeled 1-4. I would wager it would almost be even TOI, with line duties changing each night, depending on the opponent.
-Sabres Draft Eklund (I know they will most likely take Power) and Johnson
Some new mocks do have Eklund as high as 2 now. He has been my number 1 prospect since January, was hoping we would lose the lottery, so we would take Eklund. Link below to Eklund at 2 by the sporting news.

This can only happen during the draft. If what the Canucks want at the draft is no longer available, Canucks accept.

The Minnesota and Vancouver trades make sense, Montreal not so much I'm pretty sure Drouins health is uncertain. Haula signing a bit questionable but otherwise looks great.

Vancouver can't afford Reinhart's cap hit.
