Deslauriers was protected believe it or not, and Anaheim brass reportedly thinks he's extremely valuable and worth a late 1st rounder according to Friedman. hahah.

I still can't believe anyone was dumb enough to actually trade for Murray, let alone sign him to a large contract.

Right? I know he had his rise with the Penguins' two Stanley Cups but he has declined hard since leaving Pittsburgh. Dunno which goalie contract is worse, to be honest: Murray or Jones.
