Just so you know, if you take Borgen he would have to stay in the NHL because he would be subject to waivers. In this case Buffalo would just pick him back up due to being #1 on the waiver wire

1. Why would stl pay Seattle to take tarasenko there was already interest in him from other teams. So it’s pointless
2. Rangers don’t care who’s taken not paying to protect people
