Risto is over valued in this, and Seattle would want more than a 5th to not select a guy. Other than that, pretty good

Matt dumba is essentially like Marcus foligno, and Ryan Hartman to wild gm bill Guerin. He's not available to get traded especially after Ryan suter got released

The Oilers arent trading their first for two seconds. However we can beat that Vancouver deal or Reinhart if you really want pick 19.

I actually wouldn't be surprised if they do. I think they have their sights set on Cossa and if not available it's a weak draft and could potentially trade down for more quantity given we only have 2 picks in the first 5 rounds as it stands. Dropping down to the 2nd round for 2 picks (with the first one being right at the beginning of the 2nd round) also gives a pick we can flip in a trade and still make a 2nd round selection.

i mean one of the 2nds is essentially the 31st with the yotes forfeiting. Plus edm has no 2 or 3 so they pick up an extra by moving back 10 in a draft where the difference between 20-30 is negligible. but talk to me about a Reinhart deal.

I agree about Risto, Just basing off the rumors from Lebrun and the like. Plus the name of the team is "hopeful"

You wouldnt give up 9 oa in a "weak" draft for Sam Reinhart?

Fiala will be used as a package to get eichel. Dumba isn't getting traded now, or long term. Wild gm promised him, and essentially told dumba he was going to do anything he can to keep him around..

With suter release, and even before Carson soucy selection today, dumba is simply not available; neither is wild gm open to trading him
