Let's say in some crazy world all these teams were to do us a solid, I'd argue that this is not nearly suffice from the B's standpoint to remain competitive &/or of course be a cup contender... This just doesn't move the needle... Or it may. Just the wrong way..

Not sure there's any sense in trading Abramov for a late pick. There's upside there, and he seems to have every intention of being an Ottawa Senator after his stint in the KHL. there wasn't really room for him in the NHL atm (wasn't 4th line type) but there will be openings in the top 9 for him to potentially grab hold of in 2 years.

Canes reject. Honka is a very good prospect, why would they give him away for essentially nothing when he’s developing quickly?
