Description

If a contract expires directly after the 2021-2022 season, it is disqualified from contention. Also exempt are contracts of players that are on LTIR for the purpose of retirement (i.e. Brent Seabrook). Detroit is exempt due to only having one player with a non-ELC not expiring directly after the '21-'22 season.
