I don’t want Dumba traded. I’m one of his biggest backers among Wild fans on this site. However, The Wild are going to be squashed by the cap for 3 consecutive years following the coming season and they are going to have to move one or two big contracts to make it through those 3 years. Dumba and Fiala are two most obvious pieces that can accomplish this.

I firmly believe that Risto and his game are perfectly suited for the Wild! He adds just about everything the Wild lack on the blue line and he just looks to me like a player made for the playoffs! I want him for the one year left on his contract to see if he fits like I envision and he can.
