Seattle is a surprising amount of cheap contracts. I smell a few side trades to pick up additional assets. Leo could play in their bottom-6, PK, and is a good locker room guy. He is on an expiring contract so there is no long term cap consequences.

They actually made some pretty smart choices. Cap space is soooo key. Agreed, some side deals could be coming

At this point this is the ideal roster to run out with but I’m still skeptical these are lous plans waaaaay too many leaks from his camp which never happens something feels up

What leaks are you referring to? I think Parise was pretty obvious. He always goes big game hunting (and his moves so far this offseason at least signal he's trying to do the same again). Are you suggesting he just pulls something off that's on nobody's radar? My one hope of that was Forsberg

I agree it’s just everyone being infatuated with Landeskog screams something to me maybe I’m wrong but I could 100% see this being more of a parise-forsberg/tarasenko(one of the leaks of referring to)-suter/Martinez situation than just landeskog but I really don’t know lol I need to see what sort of side deal they made with Seattle before I say anything cause I don’t think it’s just ebs going

100% agree I think more cap is going with him to Seattle based on the cheap contracts they chose

With St. Louis continuing to struggle to offload Tarasenko, I don’t really see a competitor for Landy other than the Isles and the Avs. Not that I would mind getting Parise, Forsberg and Suter, I just think pursuing Landy is too in character for Lou. There aren’t many other contenders with the cap space to give Landy an offer, and the Isles still really need a winger for Barzal.
