I do think it would be a smart move for seattle to take tarasenko and flip him, although i dont see JVR being the piece they would do that far. would make more since that it was for a pick/prospect package, otherwise just take jvr in the first place and take dunn instead of tarasenko. from the blues.

James van Riemsdyk 2 x $7,000,000 Vladimir Tarasenko 2 x $7,500,000 No freaking way is Doug Armstrong retaining 2 x $3,750,000 on Tarasenko for that offer.

Maybe you should try and be a less angry person and read the trade fully before losing your ****!

    Basically what this is:

-St.Louis sends Seattle Tarasenko for nothing

-Flyers send JVR and a 2nd to St.Louis for nothing

-Seattle retains half of Tarasenko, sends him to Philly for Voracek 13OA and Hagg

Honestly, probably not. I don't see the 3 million and 1 year in savings being worth that heavy of a decline in production. Maybe a package could be revolved around those 2, but not a 1 for 1

Right because Ron Francis is going to retain 50% on Tarasenko. if that were the case Francis would've taken Tarasenko instead of Dunn and then flipped him at 50% which he didn't so he's not going to retain Armstrong would.

I think the 3 million is huge. Dadonov’s issue wasn’t a lack of production, he just didn’t play with enough skill. He’s not a great possession player so he needs a top player to play with

Or he can take Dunn and then be the middle man for a deal like above and get the 13th OA pick to retain some money for a few years. Maybe it's not 50% but this is definitely an option.
