I think that makes sense though I think they trade Kempny b/f they would trade Hagelin in order to make some room.

Might be difficult to trade Kempny after his injuries and subpar performance year after cup. But I would be a fan of that (Kempny before Hags)

Gonna be hard to move either Hags or Schultz.
Hags is seriously on the downside of his career.
Schultz couldn't play defense to save his life.
Lots of teams are tight against the cap, they are all gonna try to move players who are better than this.

I think Kempny could be good insurance in case somehow Fehervary doesn't work out. Plus, only one year left on his deal. We have quite a few guys from Hershey looking to make the jump this year into the bottom 6, and Hagelin makes the most sense to move on in my opinion. Kempny might cost less to move, hard to tell after missing a whole season with an injury. Will be very interesting to see how they navigate this off-season and cap issues.

He was good. We just need the cap space more. I'm fine with selling low on him. Jensen and TVR should be playing full time minutes next season and are both cheaper than Schultz. At least that's my opinion.

Montreal is the one team I could see having serious interest in Schultz after LTIRing Weber. Plus the cap space from losing Danault and the unknowns with Drouin and Price make it more plausible that the Habs can take on a contract like Schultz's. One year left, reasonable cap hit (maybe just a teensy bit too high, but not a dump by any means). He could quarterback the PP and is not far removed from a couple of cup runs with the Pens. Could be a great guy in the locker room and on the ice for a young competitive team looking to make another deep run.

Completely agree with this. Schultz won't be difficult to move given only 1 year remaining and a managable cap hit. We might not get a lot, but I don't think we need to pay anyone to take him.

It also makes sense to keep him for the same reasons, TVR and Jensen are good, but may not be top 4 RHD material. Schultz has 1 year left, management might take a gamble with him. Instead GMBM might pay teams to take Dillion and/or Hags. I think Hags could probably be replaced by a guy like Jonsson-Fjällby, and Dillion seemed pretty ineffective in most games I watched.

Trading Kempny will be near impossible. Best case is he lands back on LTIR somehow.

Its going to be an interesting offseason.
