What happened with the Larsson deal, thought he was all but signed with the Oilers? Did the deal fall apart over $250K? Or is Barrie being signed?

i think he chose to go to seattle. EDM offered 3.9 so i’m sure they would go up to 4, but larsson decided to chose seattle.

I don't think Poile would take that offer for Ekholm. Besides, he's a top-4 defender and a UFA at the end of the season. If Poile lost his mind for a moment and accepted that deal, Holland would be throwing away a good asset for a guy that is too good for the role he'd be playing and likely to walk because of it.
