That's an interesting Foegele offer, but the entire reason he wants out is that he wants top 6 TOI. He won't sign anywhere he won't get top 6 TOI.

interesting. the other thing is oilers could move it around.

it gives them a ton of options to balance things out. you could swap shwartz and foegele depending on what you thought was best.

I like Kahun a lot. He's always been someone that I've wanted to see in Raleigh because I think he'd fit in well at the right price. Obviously, this might be a little off for value, but I would be very happy with this as a starting point to build an offer around.

kahun had a bit of a down year and missed a few games when the oilers shuffled things around. i really like the player in a middle 6 role. He has some nice skill and he does all his work 5v5.

Lagesson might not be the right piece, it probably was someone like Caleb Jones would have had a better deal. Either way, I can't see Edmonton moving for Foegele. if they really want a top 6 winger, Nino being exposed might spark a few red flags around the league.

He is available and he wants a bigger role. Didn’t work out with the Canes tho. Imo he’s inconsistent and doesn’t have great hands or a great shot which makes him a really good third liner who can slot up to second line if you have injuries in the short term. But if you’re relying on him in the top 6 you’ll likely regret it. I guess if he plays with mcdavid he’ll put points up but that’s true of most guys I suppose.

Available yes. Asking price is rumored to be a 2nd... top 6 talent? That's... something else. He could certainly become one, but he's got hands of stone. He gets 1000 breakaways and will only score tap ins from the edge of the crease
