Before you all roast my Marner trade, consider the leverage Toronto has with an unhappy eichel coming off a DOG**** year individually. Depending on what other teams offer I would jump at this trade as Buffalo. And I think Bennett is probably about to turn his career around.

Some people view him as a fourth liner still, might get lucky at that aav, they could try offering him 4 too.

Buffalo will never send Eichel to Toronto. Besides, what good is a winger like him with no center?

I know leaf fans won’t wanna hear it cause he chokes in the playoffs, but marner is capable of driving his own line.

"consider the leverage they have" yeah factors like sharing a division with the Sabres and paying three players 10M+ totally works in their favor

100%. In a way that Hall did in his Hart year. Can be done from the wing, but its a rare player.
