Plenty of decent stuff here, but that is waaaay too much for Granlund. I'd rather spend half as much AAV for two years on Bozak, make sure we stay near the top on faceoffs and hold the extra money for much better use.

I was debating whether to sign Bozak and Suter over Granlund, which is fantastic, but decided to go for the old minny connection of Nino/Granlund. I Still think Granlund can be a 50+ point player if utilized correctly

Tarasenko had 4 goals last year. Nino was on pace for 37. Name recognition only gets you so far, otherwise Spezza would be worth the moon. Carolina right now shouldn't be the ones adding to this deal for Senko, especially without retention.

With 3rd line minutes and maybe some PP2? That's a big gamble, and not just because he's dipped hard the last two seasons.

Statsny may also be a good cheap alternative for 3C

He was also on my radar! Would be willing to do a 2 year, 3m AAV for him. Stastny and Suter would both be fantastic additions.

Don’t mind this trade for CAR. If you want 2nd in there prob need to throw in 1.5-2M of retention tho.

Not gonna lie, might be in the minority here but I'd rather have Hoffman at 5 AAV than Granlund at 4.25. Granlund is abysmal on defense, maybe if you reunite him with Nino it'd work, but I would stay away especially in a system like Berube's. The only issue with Hoffman is he needs 2nd line minutes to be successful IMO, and if you want Kyrou to grow, you need to keep him on Line 2
