So Seattle could get Kähkönen for free but the Leafs need to give up Sandin?

Coleman wants to play in the States. Your UFA signings can get more term and money from other teams.

Reports are SEA is taking Soucy from MN.

MN says no to the trade. They don't have anything near ready behind goalie KK, and Talbot is only a short term solution for them.

I don't think so. It was a coin-flip between Soucy and goalie KK to me. I think Soucy is currently the better player and there are several similar or better goalies that could be taken.
