Actually @Gmonwy , this is a pretty good return. I don't think it's quite there, but you'd be getting a high end D, signed reasonably long term, a future 1/2 center (depending on development), and an excellent wing prospect. This is close. I'd want to swap Newhook for Bowers, but it's not bad considering the $$$ Tkachuk is gonna want after this year,

So your big fix for Calgary’s three core players are a bunch of mediocre draft picks, a bunch of ahlers, bottom of the depth chart players and Morgan Reilly?!

I looked at all 3 of your fixing Calgary trades and we lose by far the best player in every single deal. Im not sure how this is supposed to “fix” the flames. Only thing its fixing is our ability to get wright or bedard.

Calgary has is in no position to compete for the cup. You down grade on your team bring in picks top high potential top 6 d and forward. Pick up wright and possibly bedard in the 3 year span you will be a contender.
