Why would we make that Giordano move? That's nonsensical.

Wild are in win now mode. Getting a top pair defensemen to replace Soucy for a year is worth it if they want to push in the playoffs. Plus I think greenway is likely to be traded regardless

Win now mode with that roster and an 18% cap penalty for three years? Someone's getting fired...

They’re not in a huge cap penalty this year, which is why a good defensemen on a 1 year deal makes sense to me. Billy G has stated multiple times the goal for the team is a cup

Yeah because he's not going to come out and say he's trying to be bad, but this team is CLEARLY not good enough to win a Cup.
