Leafs fans, what deal would you give him? (Hopefully Holland doesn’t overpay)

I want to hear some opinions from leafs fans because I’ve heard they love him.

How are you not familiar with Hyman? Heart and sole guy. Our last power forward. Leafs now have a team of princesses scared to stick up for one another. He will go into the dirty areas, step in for teammates, but he has a heavy injury record and a bad knee

I guess I phrased that badly, I’ve seen him play and think he’s pretty good but I wanted to get leafs fans perspectives of him.

Love him to bits and pieces. I'm pissed that he's leaving. You guys are getting a top 6 forward who can put up 30-40 points when healthy

if Hollands offseason consists of overpaying Hyman, Barrie and Smith and getting Keith,.... yikes.

LOVE the dude, he's made every line he's been on better. Absolutely fearless, plays a hard game with a nose for the net. Surprisingly creative? Like he's left with time and space because the other team focuses on Matthews and Marner (when he's on the first line), but mostly just generates rebounds in those situations.

He's had knee surgery twice, I think. I would prefer him on a short deal, like 4 years, but all indications so far has shown like high 5 million at 7 or 8 years.

You will love him until he falls apart, and I'm not sure if his style of game is one that can translate with slower foot speed as he gets to his mid thirties. He's had hard miles getting to this point, I'm concerned he'll drop off in speed and point production at 32 or 33 due to injury.
