Vancouver says thank you for the offer but we'll keep Loui
as do the Kings, they won't be making that deal

I've been reading this, what do you think?

      To det
      Vancouver 1st 9th overall
      Jay beagle or Antoine rousell
      Loui Erickson

      To van
      Washington first 22nd overall

Van clears 9M in cap space and moves back in first round

I strongly think the only scenario the canucks moves the 9OA is to either move up, or get a good player. They have many other picks to dump bad contracts or ride them out for the last year

If Detroit adds a 4th that would be fair

I think benning is under pressure to make the playoffs this year, or at least compete for a spot, I could see that trade happening

Nah. I think the most likely trade would be with Reinhart. Benning actually made a good move so far this offseason so I don’t think he dumps salary with the 9OA. Plus we got the Sedins, one can hold down Jim Benning while the other makes the right moves

LA is not trading a 20 year old blue-chip prospect for a 26-year old forward who isn't even currently under contract and is guaranteed to be a UFA next summer if he files for arbitration.

If you want Tyler Madden, maybe Blake would consider it. As it stands, this trade is incredibly lopsided in Detroit's favor.

Vancouver might be more intrigued is you send back Stetcher or even retain half on Leddy. They need another quality Dman to help out. Im sure that works for them.
Or Loui and 1st for the washington first likely works as well

LA says no for sure, not enough for Turcotte.

I dont see Johnson and a first. I think other teams would easily take Johnson and less.
