Stammer trade thoughts

Description
Im interested in peoples opinion of what is stammer worth. LA has been linked to wanting a #1 center and willing to part with their 1st round pick. Stammer IMO would waive for LA. I just dont know what his value is. Bringing BOGO back helps Foote develop and bringing in Haula as a utility guy who can play anywhere in the middle/bottom of the lineup. Reimer takes a little less AAV to get a second year.

I don't know why you think Stammer is OK to waive for LA. Seems just like wishful thinking by Tampa fans (for cap reasons).
LA does have Kopitar and many young centres. Heck they could sign maybe Hamilton or Landeskog for the cap of Stamkos and keep their # 1 pick.

It is well known they want to sign a #1C. Most hockey players will waive for LA. What ive heard is Tampa has asked Stammer some places he would waive for. LA IMO would be one of those to play with some young guys and make a run in the weakest division.

Huh? Where did you see that? They already have a 1C for the present and at least one for the future.

But Stamkos isn't a 1C anymore. He isn't with Tampa, and isn't he more of a winger? LA and California is kinda of a mess. Doubt if Captain of the Stanley Cup Champs or his parents have any reason to leave Florida.

Ive seen it from multiple insiders and Dennis Burnstein who covers the kings has talked about it.

Any link at all? Because everything I see has them mostly discussing wingers. Nothing at all about a 1C which makes no sense, either now or later. The Athletic beat writer frequently discusses their "logjam" of young centers.

Stamkos was asked where he would go last year .. and again this year.. dont see LA likely .. Rangers make most sense.. unless he wants to "do it sgain" and build Ottawa and Detroit ..

Los Angeles isn't looking for a #1C. Stamkos turns 32 at mid-season, has a bit of an injury history and is signed for only three years. I don't think we would make that trade to put him at #1RW, even though he's a fine player. However, I'm not challenging this exchange on value one bit.

What I find fascinating about this post is the comparisons with all the Buffalo posts receiving much more from LA for one-year-RFA Sam Reinhart, the most frequent of which lately is Vilardi, Quick and the first. Ha, ha.
