    E Svech doesn't do much for Carolina, seeing as he would be an AHL filler. A Svech is closing in on a deal with the Canes anyway according to the Athletic. E Svech serves no purpose, although I'd be open to moving both Foegele and Jake.

    I can't see Winnipeg having any interest in bringing in a LW looking for a large raise to play in the bottom 6.

    Absolutely not. Montréal wouldn’t even trade Byron for nothing, and we certainly aren’t moving him and giving up other assets.

    Who knows if the Jets will bring back Stastny (who mostly played left wing) could be something the Jets consider

    Not at that cost, with what he likely wants contract wise to be playing in the bottom 6. He'd be an alright pickup, just too expensive for the Jets.
