"Teams are wondering if the Islanders will be able to fit Beauvillier with everything else they are trying to do"

I don't think Beau is asking for too much money, but DAMN, if we can't bring him back/feel the need to trade him, Lou must have something absolutely insane up his sleeve.

This post is absolute insane and I'm not suggesting it will happen. But Beau seems like such an integral piece you would only move him if everything else fell into place.

    If we move beau over Bailey or fill his spot with Tarasenko im gonna be absolutely furious absolutely kills any longevity of the team

    Armstrong won't retain salary for 2 years so he'll get a 3rd team involved (Seattle). Armstrong also sucks and is completely overrated so who knows what will happen.

    I understand it's Friedman, but "teams are wondering" doesn't really sound like a whole lot to me. I think Beau is on the team next year.

    Romanov will top out as a #4 D. He’s not at the same level as Dobson.

    I expect him to be too. But the more interesting part is the second half of his sentence. WTF could the Isles be up to in order for teams to feel the like they can't bring back Beau

    Probably trying to land a big name like Landeskog or Tarasenko, which I personally believe won't happen. If the Isles could sign all the major RFAs and get UFAs like Cizikas, Palmieri, and an Alec Martinez type defenseman I'd be pretty happy with this offseason. Who knows, I have a good amount of faith that Lou will give Trotz a cup-caliber team for this upcoming season.

    I think the fallback option (w/ Palms) is the last thing you described. Lou always seems to chase the big fish. I think he would go for a Landy/Tarasenko and Parise LW3, then sign a defenseman. Moving that last bit of Leo actually solves a lot. You can get a legit LD and still a big fish with the cap space left.

    We have Drouin, Toffoli, Byron, Lehkonen, & Poehling. We need a C & RHD way more.
