I think it’ll be pretty close to something like this too. Haula being the obvious guess work/proxy. I would say that’s at least 750k high on N Foligno. I personally wouldn’t sign him for more than $2M, but i suppose I’m splitting hairs a bit.

He’s going to have to do more than this. This team is worse than last years and would likely have a tough time making the playoffs.

I think Jake McCabe is the ideal guy for Minnesota to pursue, but I think he gets twice as much, in both money and term. Why would he take a pay cut after playing in Buffalo? He's served his time.

I agree. McCabe is the only free agent not named Kaprizov or Fiala that should get more than a one year deal. Guerin is going to have very busy off seasons retooling this roster until the P & S buyouts go bye bye.

The FA center market is so thin this year. What about Granlund? I know he's better at wing, but he's under 30 and would be fairly cheap.

It’s very thin. He almost has to make a trade, but even then, we all know the options there. I’m not sure on Granny. The issue for me is exactly what you said, notably better at wing. I also think NSH wants to keep him enough where the price wouldn’t be justified. Like if I had to guess...what does he get? 3x4M? Maybe even more..?
