I mean, maybe...but that seems like a pretty big pipe dream...2 young assets for Holland to be able to give Hyman an extra year. Guess we'll see shortly.

Ethan bear is no where close to being worth a 4th or 5th rounder, that’s just completely absurd.

On the other hand paying Hyman $5M 8 years down the road is a terrible terrible idea. And I don’t understand how Holland doesn’t see that.

Based on the Goodrow rights to NYR for a 7th, I suspect this would be their 2021 4th, but which may still translate to a player like Brett Harrison who would be a steal in my opinion and quite underrated especially because of the playing during Covid issue.

holland could have legit spent that money that he spent on hyman and smith on landeskog, haula, or even hoffman.
