Great deal after Rasmussen had a breakout season. Especially towards the end of this deal I think he will prove his worth. Great signing for Detroit by Stevie Y!

Seems like a smart gamble by Detroit. Signed for three years for just a tad more than he's worth based on NHL play, but all signs point to likely to be better. Best case scenario that's a 2nd liner signed to cheap. Likely 3rd liner sign for cheap. Worst case scenario a slightly expensive fourth liner. Good deal
