Garland is fine but he will want to be paid more.

It'll take WAY more for Hertl

Krejci was barely under a point per game player last season I doubt he takes 3.25

LOL at the Hertl proposal...

I mean the 2022 1st is a good start, but look -- we all know that Kase has zero value at the moment -- let's not pretend otherwise, let alone think that he could be a worthy piece in a Hertl deal, especially if we're also talking major retention.

Hometown discount very much in play tho

But I agree likely 5ish

I'd try to talk him into it if I was Boston mgmt

Not really major retention tho

Yes a % but that $ for a non contender team is no big

If kase can recover he's a big asset no less

BOS just confirmed they're QOing Kase which basically confirms a decent level of health so that's basically enough to confirm that he has value at the moment

I worded that kinda oddly

Nevertheless

This package doesn't come close to getting Hertl. Bos has nothing we want.

Boston hasn’t even owned a “great prospect” In years. This isn’t even close in dream world and there’s nothing Boston offers me that even tempts me on Hertl

That's a new development, he has value looks like, but it's still far, far from being a centerpiece for a Hertl deal (even with a late 1st added in). SJ would seek either an early(ish) 1st or top-15 draft pick as the centerpiece.
