Buffalo asked for Zary, Pelletier, Valimaki and the two 1sts for Eichel so Im thinking maybe we can give them Kuznetsov, who is a 2nd rnd pick going pro this year, instead of Valimaki.

Idk bout the pick added to the Monahan deal but I figured I had to add a lil bit more since Paul is basically just a rental. IMO Ottawa is basically one of the only teams where a Monahan deal seems to make sense.

Mackey would be in the AHL but I put him in taxi squad just cuz he would be the first player called up if any D go down or if they want to switch out Stone or even Vali.

Gave all the UFAs a slight pay raise over their previous contracts. Maybe you could get Stone and Mackey for less but Stone has been a good soldier for us and Mackey is young so I feel like hed want a slight raise. You could maybe get McCabe for less but I think hes going to get some good interest on the open market. Rittich takes less because I think he liked it in Calgary and once he realizes he wont be able to get lots of money and a starting gig on the open market I hope he comes home on a team friendly deal.

As for RFAs I gave Dube a comparable but slightly lower value deal than what Mang got last summer and I gave Valimaki 2 years as well , but I think he could fall anywhere in the $1-1.75mil range.

I didnt include Kylington or sign him but we could send him off as part of any of the packages or just send him individually for a 4th rnd pick or something.
