Description

Another crack at predicting the future of the red wings.
Bertuzzi finally traded with pieces to Toronto for Nylander. He doesn't fit our timeline so he gets flipped to the Kings.
Some high end skill for LA so they can try and compete again while doughty and crew are still around. They have ridiculous high end centre depth so I have them sending back Turcotte as his two way style would fit in well. They also send Kempe so Detroit can have a roster player back and to make room for nylander.
With a few teams needing solid RD depth, I have Stetcher going tu Carolina for foegele. Foegele asked for a trade to get top six minutes, I give him that in Detroit on a two year deal.
Johnson's cap dump to the wings with ryfors and a 23 1st. Send them Namestnikov back with half retained salary so they can have a quality third line player for fairly cheap.
I resign Glendening for his faceoff skills, I would expect to trade him at the deadline, and gagner for his defensive play and good team guy.
I sign Yandle on the back end to have an experienced guy to play with one of the young guys. Also bring in Rafferty to play the right side, with his age he could be a guy we look to keep of his play is sufficient.
I have veleno, Raymond, Seider and berggren starting in the minors, with injuries and trades they will be brought up.
Leddy traded at the deadline for hopefully more than a second rounder.
Greiss, glendening, gagner, Johnson, dekeyser and Neilson I take whatever I can get for them, if anything.

That would explain why he hasn't been traded yet, I don't think he's quite worth a second, I put his value at a mid third but I might be off.
RD are hard to come by right now, very few top 4 as free agents all I feel his value is a bit inflated, I really don't think this is too far off, maybe a bit of tweaking. Considering foegele came out publicly wanting a trade, I wouldn't be opposed to maybe adding Ottawa's fifth this year.

Canes only have 1 RD signed for this season, unless they resign Hamilton and Hakanpaa they have to go to free agents or trades. With Seattle taking from teams and Weber going down, that's even more teams looking for RD.
