I see the RFA signings like this: both tanked this year, not just inconsistent or uneven, but both were poor. Hart is going from entry level to 2.5-2.8 for just 3 yrs (NJD Blackwood is a good example, he had a good year and got just 4mil) and Sanheim is getting increase from 3.2 to 3.85 but will hit UFA when contract ends. Sanheim will have made 20 mil in his first 8 yrs of pro hockey, in a flat cap, I cant see him as a 4.5+ mil dman, (larsson just got 4mil and oleksiak 4.6mil but both are far more established and coming off better/more reliable years).

As far as JVR for Debrusk, you are getting cap space, a player 7 yrs younger, and hoping for Debrusk to become the power forward of 20+ goals a year he appeared to be last year.

on the Debrusk trade, its the first rounder im turned away by. 1 for 1 is fine/good. In my mind Hart has shown that he is/can be a better goalie than Blackwood and during the 19-20 campaign some could argue he would get around 5-6, i think both philly and Hart know last year was a down year and i think he would end upp getting around 3.5 - 4. As for sanheim i agree with you. However the reports and models available hint to a slightly higher aav though but it all comes down to fletchers ability to negotiate

i really like this team, as stated above i think hart gets around 3/3.5x3 but the sanheim deal sounds about right. i would try to avoid moving the 1 with jvr for debrusk, maybe next years 2 and a medium level prospect with a higher ceiling ie zamula. would also like suter on a 2 yr deal as opposed to 3 but this team would be a lot better
