Not even remotely. I called what you did bad. I didn’t pass any judgments on you. I don’t know you, I’m unable to do that. I saw what you did, so I’m able to pass judgments on what i thought was a scummy comment. Get it?

Yes I get that you don’t attack me personally but if somebody is saying something most of the time they mean it and when people mean thing that usually mean they believe and they follow the same thinking of their words, so by telling that my comment was a scumbag thing to say, that mean that I’m a scumbag, listing it’s never cool to get a wake up call like that, but concusions are real pain because you never control them, you can’t directly affect your recovery, so yes I agree it’s a sensitive subject, but it’s life and sometimes people need to understand the truth, if is QO is 2.6M, that’s really bad because kase has a major history and haven’t been able to show healthy signs

Then why bother, get it? Waste of space. Might as well trade for Klefbom too.

Use the $/cap and roster spot for someone who will actually play and contribute.

It’s not about the $.

Why bother? it's a NO risk, high reward protection of assets.
The QO only protected him from signing wherever he wanted without the Bruins signing off. Chances are if he gets an offer (Seattle) the Bruins can match or possibly get compensation. Like if Seattle or Az offered him 2x1.5 The Bruins would get a 3rd. If they offered 2x2.6 the Bruins would get a 2nd.

If he doesn't reach a deal with the Bruins or anyone and accepts the QO, the Bruins can send him to providence and doesn't hurt them, or they can LTIR them. Again, not hurting them.

THis is not rocket science, it's risk and asset management.

If he accepts the QO he gets 1 year at 2.6. Why wouldn’t he. He is not getting that anywhere else. If he declines then Boston still holds his rights to match and they can sign him for less than the QO. Which is why i said i hope he agreed to reject it.

No. I just think your comment was a scumbag comment. I’ve said scumbag things in the past. It happens. And I’ve had post concussion syndrome. I was lucky that it only cost me a year of my life, you don’t need to tell me how much they stink.

I just don’t think making light of someone with such issues is a character move.

I agree with you that it’s not the best moove, but it’s not personnal about kase it’s about signing long listed injuries players moove, but tbh with you, I really enjoyed that me and you took the time to explain, on that have a nice day I’m going out to do some motorcycle, have a nice Friday night watching the draft I guess wink

JFC - because it's a two way deal. The Bruins can send him down with no penalty and I'd have to double check, but probably make like 250K or some thing like that. It wouldn't be a good move for him, unless he is healthy in which Kase (ha!) he would be worth it. He would be much better off signing a 1 way 1M x 2 year deal.

I dealt with concusions for 2 years, i know what it is, it’s not cool knowing if during your exam you will just start having blur vision and having vomit coming up form no where, I’m not laughing at concusions and I’m telling you that paying a guy that has a really long history of injuries and especially concusions is not a good moove, hey i was the first guy really happy to see him play when he got back at the end of the seasons and he didn’t finish the game, at that time I was feeling really sad because I saw a bit of myself swing a guy working hard to play the sport that he like, but his body just can’t, and that’s the same moment I told my self it’s over for him

That's what you don't know. Bruins management/doctors are the only ones who know that and have access to his medical report.

To be honest, I can't comment on all this and I think that my opinion is irrelevant. However, I like how the topic is named, moving piece, it is like talking about my old bike, it was so old that I was always losing some pieces from it. It was very difficult to change it as it had a special connection to me. I decided to buy an electric bike in order to keep up with modern technologies and also because I get to the destination much faster and I save a lot of time.
