I would have no desire to give up Beauvillier for Drouin.

Habs say no to this deal. Drouin is still a 50 point winger and although Beauvillier has improved season to season the difference isnt a good prospect and a 1st. Especially since they're only 2 years difference in age, if Beau was 22 it would be a different story but he looks to be basically the same as Drouin, capping out at 50-60 point production.

The fact that points are the determining factor about a player for you just lost you all credibility.

You've got 2 mil in cap space and Bellows as a HS so maybe if the Isles beef up the offer to Bellows, 2nd, 4th for VT @5.75m they could make the deal. As written here probably isn't enough considering Armstrong still hasn't made the move and these are the types of lowballs he's had to brush off.

Is Beauviller some great defensive presence that plays PK or something? Because from what I know he isnt exactly a stand out defence play that generates take aways. Add that to the fact that Drouin was showing massive improvements away from the puck last year and seems to me that your credibility is just as shot

Beauvillier not good defensively??? And doesnt generate takeaways??? He probably generates the most takeaways of any player on the islanders. Hes an above average player in every single category. Maybe learn just a little bit about a player before you start talking about them. As for my credibility its miles ahead of yours rn.

You realize he was credited with more give aways then take aways last season? And from what I see he wasnt your lead penalty killer and he didnt receive a single Selke vote nor was considered in any capacity. I get you're trying to make a case for him being better then Drouin but its not even what Im arguing. Im just saying the difference between them isnt a good prospect and a 1st. Great he is the better all around player, Drouin is better offensively (right now, probabaly not in a year or two), but you still only get a package like this if Beau was a couple years younger.

We're both fans typing on a key board, neither of us has credibility, just have fun and state opinions on here.

That is not a serious offer to the Blues. You have not even tried to pay for the retention, let alone Tank himself.
