Yotes decline. Maybe a 2nd instead of a 3rd. Or keep the 3rd added, but add Zboril.

Replace on of those pieces with a 1st Zona might accept. As is, no chance in hell.

Might as well throw in Vladar if that’s your goalie plan, he will never clear waivers.

Kase is being given his QO, so that’s another 2.6m lost.

Wagner should not be on the 3rd line. He's a depth forward. Paying Reimer $3.5 is a mistake.

The difference between Garland and DeBrusk is not a 1st

Until last year it wasn’t, it is now, for Zona anyway, who don’t want his 4.8 salary this year. The can flip him but they’d be hard pressed to get a 2nd for him at this rate. Which is why i don’t think Boston moves him unless it’s for another reclamation project.

Play him till the tdl, give him a top 6 role to build value and flip him. Looking at value based on 1yr is crazy.

I agree.

Trading him now is foolish and over reactionary. Most people in the industry don’t feel Boston can get a pick inside the top 50 and after the Arvidsson trade i tend to agree. They would not be trading him for value, they’d be trading him for cap space. If they go out and sign someone like Granlund for 4 years at 3.75-4 to take his place, it essence it’s Debrusk for Granlund and whatever they get for him. It’s understandable. If they are moving him just to move him…it’s pointless .

Difference is Arvi is 28 (DeBrusk 24) and he's managed only 60+ games twice in a 7yr career.

Not like Debrusk has ever been an iron man, and Arvi has been more productive throughout his career and had term.

Outside of last year DeBrusk had played 60+ games every year. DeBrusk at age 24 has similar production to Avi at age 24 and that's with DeBrusk having an absolute awful season this year

Thru the age of 24:

VA - 68G / 138P
JD - 67G / 134P

Fair, but his value has been sliding as opposed to gtowing, even before the bubble. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Who you hoping for tonight in round 1? Hoping Coronato falls to them but not holding my breath.

They haven’t yet, but they said they are giving Kase, Ritchie, and Senyshyn their QOs

Honestly this is the first year I didn't look to deep into the draft because I usually see the guy I wanted passed over by Sweeney. From just a quick look I'd say in no order

Would need to slip
Raty
Svechkov
Coronato

Should be there/reach
Bolduc (friends with some of his family)
L'Heureux
Martino

Ya we are on the same page there. Really hoping for Coranato. Donny probably going to draft some guy out of Mexico nobody has ever heard of.

Svechkov has drawn comps style wise to Bergeron and Datsyuk, both who are my favorite players, so I'd probably pick him as my favorite

Have not seen much of him, heard good things though.

Borgault might be an option and should be available. But i’m not sold on him, seems like a settle pick and that is certainly not Donny style.

Also some trade down noise.

Wouldn't be opposed to moving it in a bigger deal to land Garland and Kuemper

Wish granted. They actually took the best player on the board. Almost fell over.

Was surprised honestly. Fully expected to hear "from the Jamaican National team the Bruins are proud to select...."

NSH I thought killed it in the first round with Svechkov and L'Heureux

Brett Harrison in the 3rd! Is someone else picking for Donny? This best player on the board thing is confusing.
