Only 1 of boldy and or Rossi are available, not both. Every report has made it clear that wild gm isn't trading both

Large overpay for a guy who is hurt and may not even play this year. Rather get the hometown boy Mittelstadt!

I wouldn't pay a 7th round pick for Eichel until his medical records are given to us

Edmonton declines. I think Neal for Ristolainen is something they would consider - and maybe even throw in a mid-round pick because of Neal's extra year - but there's no reason for them to take equal money back while also kicking in a 1st.

2022/23: Let's say that Minny has Kaprizov locked up at $8 mil per year. After this trade, they'd have 12 total players signed and a total of $7.919 worth of cap space.

I get that there's talk of Eichel in Minny, but I honestly don't see how it happens without creating a team with zero depth.

For sure, and I absolutely think that they're probably horned up to upgrade, I just don't think sacrificing the entirety of your depth is ever a bright plan.

I still feel like those buyouts weren't a bright move at all, but I guess that's just because I don't see Guerin's logic. Trading them would have been a mistake, because when they inevitably retired Minny would have been F*cked with the recapture penalty, but man, that's just such a massive set of shackles to put on the team.
