Description
Eichel off to Anaheim to get him out of the conference.

Rhino adds offense to a Flyers roster looking to take it further in the playoffs next season. The value here was tricky and I'm fairly certain picks might need to be involved, but for simplicity's sake, I kept it players only.

Risto to Montreal given their Shea Weber news. Montreal has an abundance of picks this year. Buffalo takes Tampa's 2nd round pick from Montreal.

I shored up the RFA defense contracts with favorable contracts and brought back McCabe, who becomes the team captain. Okposo and Girgensons will be the alternates.

The UFA market for Buffalo is a short list. I brought back Pysyk as a bottom pairing defender for two seasons, as well as Jonathan Bernier to mentor UPL until he's ready to take over the starting job.

Listen, this is a super-young group of players with a lot of upside. They're barely above the cap floor. I have no idea what happens from here. Maybe the Stanley Cup but probably Shane Wright and Connor Bedard.

Sabres want this years draft pick not next years from the Ducks, not enough for Reinhart but like you said a pick or two can even it out

Ducks decline.

You aren't getting Comtois, 3OA and Drysdale.

It's weird. I can't choose this year's 1st round pick. Possibly because it's draft day?

Well, it's not Zegras. Maybe swap Drysdale with Mahura?

Perhaps not, but if ducks want Jack they gotta do something quick. Minnesota seems like the favorite currently and if he isn't moved at the draft he won't be moved this offseason imo

Then you're not getting Eichel...it's pretty simple here, give up one of your top two prospects plus a first and a roster player or you're not getting Eichel. But I don't think the Ducks are good trade partners here, the pieces needed to get Eichel are pieces they need to help their rebuild

Philly isn't trading Farabee. Reinhart's value right now is a 1st and a top prospect.

Rhino for Frost and a 1st?

It's not terrible...

Could you take Eakin as a sign of good faith?

the Sabres are very weak with RHD, Drysdale would be a huge get for Buffalo, especially if they trade Risto

Not a bad replacement for Borgen. I don't know if Fitzgerald or Samuelsson are ready. Maybe Bryson, but I like Drysdale as a comparable insert.

Yes, our team is too far from playoff contention to trade for Eichel tbh. We'd still be a Bottom 5 team. I really like Eichel but his price tag is too high for the Ducks imo.

I know. Two Prospects (Perreault, Tracey, Groulx, etc.) and Henrique would probably have to be added.

Frost and a 1st sounds fair to me, but BUF would have to take some salary back like Voracek or JVR so Philly could sign him.

I agree with this and feel like that Philly would need to add a pick for them to take JVR even though he has value I feel like a trade could look like Frost, JVR, 13th, and a 3rd for Reinhart

Drysdale isnt stepping in to replace Risto immediately, if they take Power they can and should move Dahlin to RD where here played in Sweden, At that point you have Dahlin, Jokiharju then 7 other Dmen under 24 fighting to fill in a 3rd pair D spot, theyre better off signing a vet thats solid in his own end
