Rangers decline. No need for Jensen since Lundkvist will be manning 3 RHD. Rangers might consider Buch for Kuzy straight up but I still dont think they would do it.

Why is Lundkvist skipping over Hartford?

I assume Rangers would trade their 2021 1st + an average prospect for Kuzy then move Strome in a separate deal to open up cap space.

i think it depends on how he does at camp... Jensens term might be the issue maybe swap him for Schultz higher cap hit no term

Lundkvist won the Salming Trophy winner as the SHL’s best Swedish born defenseman. He had 14 goals which was the most goals from a defenseman as an 21 year-old player or younger in the league’s history. It's not like he is 18 years old, he is 21 and played in a mens league. You also have to take into account his $925K cap hit if the Rangers land Eichel or make any other splashes.

Panarin Kuzy Buch


I see what you are saying but Buch needs to go in any deal for Kuzy. Down the middle you would have Mika, Kuzy & Chytil. LW you have Panarin, Laffy & Kreider. RW would be Buch, Kakko & Krav. You dont sign Goodrow for 6 yrs @ $3.6M AAV to be on the 4th line so Buch is the logical piece to use to get Kuzy so Barclay can play on the 3rd line.

Kuzy had a coke problem in Washinton so I'm not sure NY is ideal for him.

makes sense. Kucherov has a coke issue in tampa... only an issue when your not winning.
